Hamrun Spartans confirmed the signing of French central defender Claude Dielna,

The thirty-three year old started his career at SM Caen and later played for Lorient B and FC Istres before joining Olympiakos. He had spells on loan with CS Sedan and AC Ajaccio. Dielna moved to Sheffield Wednesday and later had spells on loan with Slovan Bratislava in Slovakia and Dinamo Bucharest in Romania. He then moved to the USA where he played for New England Revolution and Portland Timbers but last year, he moved back to Europe to join Universitatea Craiova in Romania.
