After losing narrowly to Sliema Wanderers in their last outing, Santa Lucia earned another precious point as they shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Floriana at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.
A draw which leaves the Greens in the danger zone as they are fifth from bottom. They have now gone ten matches without a win.
Floriana took the lead on the 33rd minute when off a cross from the right, new signing Adriano Louzada e Silva headed home past goalkeeper Miguel Montfort.
However, on the 66th minute, Santa Lucia equalised thanks to Kevin Ante Rosero who headed the ball home past Akpan following a cross by Tabone Desira from the right.
