Four Premier League players suspended

Four Premier League players were suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the mid-week matches.

Jackson Mendoza of Gzira United was handed a two-match ban while Valdo Goncalves Alhino and Clayton Giordimaina of Lija Athletic and Raphael Kooh Sohna of Tarxien were banned for one match.

Mendoza is ruled out of Gzira’s next two games against Mosta and Lija. Lija could not count on Alhino and Giordimaina for the derby against Balzan while Kooh Sohna is ruled out of the clash with Sirens.

Meanwhile Rodolfo Soares of Nadur Youngsters was suspended for one match following the FA Trophy round of 32 matches.
