Four Premier League players were suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the mid-week matches. Jackson Mendoza of Gzira United was handed a two-match ban while Valdo Goncalves Alhino and Clayton Giordimaina of Lija Athletic and Raphael Kooh Sohna of Tarxien were banned for one match.
