Four players were suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the FA Trophy round of 32 matches.

Wilfred Ojodale Ammeh of Swieqi United was suspended for three matches while Juan Andres Bolanos (Gudja), Valdo Goncalves Alhinho (Lija) and Alessandro Milesi (Sliema) were banned for one match.

Since Swieqi, Gudja, Lija and Sliema were eliminated, these players will have to serve these bans in league matches.

Meanwhile in the BOV Challenge League, San Gwann officials Xavier Saliba and Zeljko Ivanovic were both banned for one match.
