Keqi penalty hands Floriana second win on the trot

Floriana registered a second consecutive win as a penalty by Kristian Keqi late in the first half handed them a narrow win over Gudja United at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday.

A win which puts the Greens in ninth place, one point ahead of Sirens and two ahead of Gudja.

For Gudja, this was yet another disappointing result as they have collected just one point from the last seven matches..

Floriana scored the all-important goal on the 38th minute when Imanol Gonzalez Benac floored Kristian Keqi inside the area and the same player converted from the penalty spot.
