The training camp of the Malta futsal squad has been stopped as a precautionary measure after a member of the technical staff tested positive for COVID-19.

The decision has been taken in consultation with the Malta FA’s Medical Department who are currently conducting the contact-tracing assessment in accordance with the Association’s Return To Play Protocols.

The established precautionary measures and guidelines have been followed. All the players, coaches and members of the technical staff underwent a COVID-19 test prior to the commencement of the training camp, at the National Sport School, last Monday and the results were all negative.
