Pieta’ Hotspurs have appointed Paul Gatt as their new coach. He replaces Brian Spiteri who led the Hotspurs for the past two years.

Gatt had been serving as Malta Under-17 coach for the past year after leading the academy teams within the MFA Technical Sector since 2018.

Earlier, he coached at youth nursery level with Attard and Swieqi United apart from a two-year spell with the academy of SS Lazio in Italy.

Before the league was interrupted in March, the Hotspurs were lying in eighth place in the BOV Challenge League.
