Valletta FC signed Malta Under-21 international Christian Gauci on a three-year deal.

Nineteen year old Gauci is a product of San Gwann and has played for the Malta national team at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 levels.

Gauci is the second signing for Valletta after Michele Sansone. The Citizens, who have confirmed Antonio Jose Cardoso Mendes as coach, had earlier announced that they would not be retaining Leandro Aguirre, Santiago Malano, Matteo Piciollo, Miguel Angel Alba and Wellington de Oliveira.
