Santa Lucia signed Brazilian defensive midfielder Patrick Silva Mota

Mota played for 7 de Setembro, Treze FC, Botafogo, Bragantino, America FC and Sampaio Correa before a short spell in Indonesia with PSIS Semarang. He returned to Brazil to join Treze but in summer 2020, he moved to Malta to join Gudja United.

This is the third signing for Santa Lucia after securing the services of Vito Plut and Jan Tanti. The club had earlier confirmed Oliver Spiteri as their coach and three of their foreign players, namely Alan da Silva Souza, Andre Fausto Prates Rodrigues and Victor Luis Prestes Filho.
