Sirens FC secured the services of thirty five year old goalkeeper Sean Mintoff from Balzan.

Mintoff started his career with Floriana before joining Balzan on loan mid-way through season 2001/02. He moved to St. Patrick in 2002, spending season 2007/08 on loan with Balzan. In 2010, he moved to Lija Athletic and the following season joined Rabat Ajax where he spent two years. In 2013, he joined Floriana and the following season, moved to Tarxien Rainbows, spending two years at the club. He re-joined Rabat Ajax for season 2016/17 but the following year, he moved back to Balzan.

After the appointment of Winston Muscat as their new coach, the club signed goalkeeper Jonathan Debono, Sacha Borg and Alfred Effiong while Adrian Borg and Jacob Walker were confirmed.
