The UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round draw will be held on Wednesday at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland at 12:00 and 13:30 respectively.

In the UEFA Champions League, the 26 clubs are split into two sections: champions path (20 teams) and league path (six teams). All ties are played on 20/21 and 27/28 July.

Flora Tallinn/Hibernians were placed in Group 1 of the Champions Path and therefore if Hibernians eliminate Flora Tallinn, they will be facing Young Boys, the winner of Dinamo Zagreb vs Valur or the winner of Bodø/Glimt or Legia Warszawa.

Winners advance to the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round, and will be assured of a group stage place in either the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League or UEFA Europa Conference League. Champions path losing sides progress to the UEFA Europa League champions path third qualifying round, while League path losing sides go into the Europa League main path third qualifying round.

In the UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round, there will be two paths at this stage: the Champions Path and Main Path.

The three teams eliminated in the UEFA Champions League preliminary round and the 17 teams eliminated in the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round all transfer to the UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round Champions Path. Hibernians enter this stage if they are eliminated by Flora Tallinn and their opponent would be one of these teams who were eliminated: Ferencváros TC (HUN) / UEFA Champions League preliminary round winners, Bodø/Glimt (NOR) / Legia Warszawa (POL), Dinamo Zagreb (CRO) / Valur (ISL), Connah’s Quay Nomads (WAL) / Alashkert (ARM) and Folgore (SMR) / FC Prishtina (KOS).

The teams will be drawn into ten ties with seeding arrangements and any groupings or restrictions confirmed ahead of the ceremony. The ten winners of the ties on 22 and 29 July will advance to the third qualifying round champions path.

On the other hand, the teams entering at this stage in the Main Path will be joined by the 33 first qualifying round winners. This could include any of the Maltese teams who qualify from the first qualifying round where Birkirkara face La Fiorita 1967 of San Marino, Gzira United take on UE Sant Julià of Andorra while Mosta meet FK Spartak Trnava.

In case of success, the Maroons would face one team from Domžale (SVN) / Swift Hesper (LUX), Glentoran (NIR) / The New Saints (WAL), CSKA-Sofia (BUL), Viktoria Plzeň (CZE) or Rijeka (CRO); the Stripes would be meeting one team from Austria Wien (AUT), Osijek (CRO), Olimpija Ljubljana (SVN), Basel 1893 (SUI) or Feyenoord (NED) while the Blues would face one team from Hammarby (SWE), Raków Czestochowa (POL), Sepsi OSK Sfantu Gheorghe (ROU), Servette (SUI) or Újpest (HUN).

The clubs will be split into two pots, seeded and unseeded, in accordance with the club coefficient rankings established at the beginning of the season. As the first qualifying round ties are not played until 8 and 15 July, the coefficient of the club with the higher coefficient of the two clubs involved in an undecided tie is used for the purposes of the draw.
