Gzira United signed twenty-two year old forward Emmanuel Mbong.

Emmanuel Mbong, brother of national team players Joseph and Paul, started his career at the St. Patrick and Paola Hibernians nurseries. He then played for Vittoriosa Stars, Kalkara United and Siggiewi.

The Maroons had earlier signed Thiago Espíndola de Paula, Judivan Flor da Silva, Clive Gauci, Luke Tabone and Kurt Desira.
