Malta women’s national team defender Nicole Sciberras will be playing in the Italian Serie B next season with UPC Tavagnacco on a one-year loan deal from Juventus.

The twenty year old was on the books of Juventus for the past two years, turning out for their Primavera side. A product of Mosta FC, Sciberras moved to Italy at the age of sixteen, playing for Rome-based team Grifone Gialloverde.

Tavagnacco placed fourth in the Serie B last season following relegation from the Serie A the previous year.
