Spanish defender Gabriel Izquier Artiles will be playing once again for Hibernians after agreeing a new deal with the club.

The twenty-eight year old had moved to Malta in summer 2019 to join the Paolites. He had started his career at RCD Mallorca, playing in their second team. Later, he played for Barakaldo CF, Atletico Levante, CD Badajoz, UD Villa de Santa Brigida and CD Teruel.

The Paolites had earlier signed Erjon Beu on loan from Lija Athletic, Brian Thaylor Lubanzadio Aldama, Francis Sarfo Mensah, Wilfried Domoraud and goalkeepers Nicky Vella and Ibrahim Kone.
