Floriana FC signed twenty-seven year old French-Tunisian central defender Oualid El Hasni.

El Hasni started his career at AS Cannes in France and later played for Werder Bremen in Germany and Vicenza in Italy at youth level. He made his senior debut with Vicenza and then had a spell on loan with Monza. He moved to Tunisia to play for ES Sahel but then moved back to Italy to join Triestina. He spent season 2018/19 with UTA Arad in Romania but then moved to Tunisia to join Stade Tunisien where he played for the last two years.

Floriana FC have earlier appointed Italian coach Gianluca Atzori as their new coach and signed goalkeeper Andreas Vella, Christian Rutjens, Owen Spiteri, Adam Magri Overend and Zachary Cassar.
