The Malta Under-17 national team drew 1-1 with Udinese in the second match from Group A of the Trofeo Rocco in Cussignacco, Italy.

Zak Barbara converted a penalty to put Malta ahead but De Crescenzo levelled matters for Udinese.

On Sunday, Malta, who had defeated HNK Rijeka 4-2 in the first game will be in action once again, facing Bologna in Monfalcone.

Malta and Udinese lead the way with four points, followed by Bologna on 3 and Rijeka 0. Udinese meet Rijeka in the other match on Sunday.
