Gzira continue to chase first win as they take on Valletta

Gzira United face Valletta, hoping to register a first win as three matches from the BOV Premier League are in programme on Saturday. Hibernians seek their fourth win from the clash against Mosta while Santa Lucia hope to extend their unbeaten record in the match against Sirens.

In the first match at the Tony Bezzina Stadium, kick-off at 17:00, Santa Lucia cross swords with Sirens.

Oliver Spiteri’s side is still unbeaten after three draws in their first three outings 2-2 with Floriana, 1-1 with Gzira and 2-2 with Gudja. Sirens, on the other hand, lie one point ahead of Santa Lucia after a 1-0 win over Gudja 1-0 and a 1-1 draw 1-1 with Mosta, losing 1-3 to Hibernians.

At the National Stadium, kick-off at 19:00, Valletta take on Gzira United.

The Citizens are eager to bounce back following a heavy 0-3 defeat to Floriana after winning their first two matches against Hamrun Spartans and Balzan. The Maroons, on the other hand, lie joint-third from bottom following a 1-3 defeat to Hibernians and two 1-1 draws with Santa Lucia and Sliema Wanderers.

Christian Gauci is ruled out for Valletta as he serves a one-match ban.
