Nine-man Valletta suffer third successive defeat

Gudja United registered the second win on the trot as they defeated nine-man Valletta 2-0 at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Saturday.

Valletta, therefore, suffered a third successive defeat after winning their first two matches. They now lie one point behind Gudja who moved third on level points with Sirens.

Ruslan Kisil converted a penalty to put Gudja ahead two minutes from the end of the first half.

The Citizens were reduced to ten men after having Joseph Zerafa sent off just before the end of the first half and five minutes in the second half, Ryan Camilleri was also sent off for the Citizens.

Filip Pankarican doubled the score for Gudja United on the 70th minute.
