One-match ban for six Premier League players

Six Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner.

Augustine Loof (Balzan), Ryan Scicluna (Birkirkara), Kristian Keqi (Floriana), Igor Dudarev (Gudja), Ferdinando Apap (Hibs) and Jurgen Pisani (Santa Lucia) are therefore ruled out of this weekend’s matches.

Loof is ruled out of the match against Balzan, Apap the clash with Valletta, Dudarev the game against Hamrun, Pisani the match against Sliema, Keqi the game against Mosta and Scicluna the match against Sirens. 

Birkirkara official Jamie Borg was banned for three matches.

Meanwhile in the Challenge League, Steve Meilak (Naxxar) and Benjamin Hili (San Gwann) were suspended for one match. Vittoriosa official Jonathan Vella was suspended for four matches, San Gwann official Dotine Deguara for two matches, Naxxar official Clivert Burke and San Gwann coach Jean Paul Desira for one match.

In the National Aamteur League, Eman Camilleri (Marsaskala) was suspended for one match.
