Under-18 side turn defeat into victory in friendly match against Estonia

The Malta Under-18 national team, led by coach Alessandro Zinnari, came from behind to beat Estonia 3-1 in a friendly match at the MFA Training Grounds on Sunday.

The visitors took the lead on the 4th minute thanks to Andres Vaher. However ten minutes in the second half, Zak Barbara with a shot from outside the area. Three minutes later, Gregor Lehtmets committed an own goal and six minutes from time, Benjamin Mifsud headed the ball home off a corner.

Malta faces Estonia in another friendly match on Tuesday at the Tony Bezzina Stadium.
