Malta U-18 shares spoils with Estonia in friendly match

Malta and Estonia shared the spoils at the Tony Bezzina Stadium in a second Under-18 international friendly match.

These matches are part of the preparations ahead of next year’s UEFA Under-19 Championship matches. Malta won the first friendly match at the MFA Training Centre on Sunday 3-1.

Coach Alessandro Zinnari made two changes from last Sunday as Jamie Scerri and Nathan Cross were preferred to Brooklyn Borg and Isaiah Micallef, who were both included as substitutes.

Estonia took the lead on the 35th minute thanks to Daniel Luts but Malta equalised twelve minutes from time, courtesy of Lucas Caruana.
