Four Premier League players suspended

Four Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner.

The players are Louis Beland-Goyette (Gudja), Wilfried Domoraud (Hibs), Julius Bliek (Sliema) and Ivan Curjuric (Valletta).

Beland-Goyette will skip the clash with Sirens, Domoraud is ruled out of the game against Gzira, Bliek the match against Balzan and Curjuric the clash with Hamrun.

In the Challenge League, Andre Spiteri (St. George’s) was handed a three-match ban while Nezar Abouhaisa (San Gwann), Irvin Abela (St. George’s), Ryan Fenech (Marsa), Jamie Azzopardi and Gaetano Gesualdi (Zebbug) were suspended for one match. Melita assistant coach Alessandro Ciantar was handed a two-match ban.

In the National Amateur League, Tyrone Grech (Sta. Venera) was banned for three matches while Domenico Marsala (Dingli), Ikechukwu Igwemeke (Gharghur), Ryan Muscat (Siggiewi), Karl Saliba (Ta’ Xbiex), Gaynor D’Amato (Xghajra), Fabrizio Zammit (Marsaskala), Carmelo Farrugia and Miguel Mamo (Qormi), Malcolm Calleja (Sta. Venera) and Kurt Darmanin (Zurrieq) were all suspended for one match.
