Sirens signed thirty year old Brazilian defensive midfielder Renato Cardoso Porto Neto.

After starting his career at Catarinense in Brazil, Renato Neto moved to Portugal at an early age to join Sporting Lisbon. He had spells on loan with Cercle Bruges and KAA Gent in Belgium and Videoton in Hungary and ebentually moved to Gent. Later he played for KV Oostende and KMSK Deinze.
