Two futsal training camps for players born 2005 and 2006

The Futsal Department within the Malta Football Association will be holding more training camps specifically designed for the younger generation in the coming days.  These youngsters are all vying to making their mark while undergoing rigorous training at National Team level.

This is a busy period for the Futsal Department culminating in the senior side’s commitments in the qualifying group for the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup.

Preliminary Round encounters for Malta are scheduled between the 4th and 13th of April, as the boys were drawn in group B to be contested in Norway, with Denmark and Cyprus joining the hosts and Malta in this competition.

Back to the training camps scheduled for the coming days, they will be conducted by Carlo Scicluna and Everton Da Silva, both deployed as Futsal coaches within the Association.  All sessions will be overseen by Malta Futsal Team coach Zeljko Anicic.
