Zebbug Rangers regained a three-point lead on top Group B of the BOV Challenge League as they defeated St. Andrews 1-0 at the Centenary Stadium on Monday.
Stanimir Miloskovic scored the all-important goal on the 16th minute.
Zebbug lead the way with 33 points followed by Pieta’ on 30, Marsa on 29, Tarxien 28, Fgura 22, Qrendi 20, St. Andrews and Swieqi 19, Senglea 12, Mgarr and Luqa 10.
In Group A, Rabat Ajax returned to winning ways, defeating St. George’s 3-0 thanks to a brace by Darko Todorovski on the 47th and 51st and Melvin Akingboye on the 56th.
Pembroke lead the way with 35 points, followed by Naxxar on 34, Zejtun 28, Marsaxlokk 26, Melita 24, San Gwann 23, Lija 21, Mqabba 17, Rabat and Vittoriosa 13 and St. George’s 4.
