Women’s Under-19 national team holds Northern Ireland in 1-1 draw

Malta earned a point in a 1-1 draw in the first match from League B Group 1 of Round 2 of the UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship at Inver Park in Larne, Northern Ireland on Wednesday.

Cora Chambers put the hosts ahead five minutes from the end of the first half but seven minutes in the second half, Maya Lucia levelled matters for Malta.

The women’s Under-19 national team will be in action once again on Saturday, facing Azerbaijan who defeated the Faroe Islands 2-0 in another match on Wednesday.
