Group B winners Zurrieq are the champions of the BOV National Amateur League after defeating Group A winners Attard 2-1 in the Championship Decider at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Sunday.
Nigel Spiteri put Attard ahead on the 21st minute but ten minutes later, Adrian Caruana levelled matters. The game seemed heading towards extra-time but two minutes in added time, Ivan Bojovic notched the winner.
Without doubt, Zurrieq were the best team in both sections.
