Mtarfa will be facing Gharghur in the final of the BOV National Amateur League Promotion Play-Offs after defeating Zabbar St. Patrick 3-2 at the Centenary Stadium on Wednesday.
Kenneth Aquilina put Zabbar ahead on the 10th minute but Kurt Zammit equalised four minutes from the end of the first half. Nine minutes in the second half, Zammit made it 2-1 for Mtarfa and Alejandro Brincat extended the lead on the 61st minute. Kenneth Aquilina reduced the gap for the Saints two minutes in added time.
The final between Mtarfa and Gharghur will be played on Saturday at the Centenary Stadium, kick-off at 17:15.
