Raiders Lija win Women’s Under-20 Knock-Out

Raiders Lija won the Women’s Under-20 Knock-Out Competition after defeating champions Birkirkara 2-1 at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.

The two teams were facing each other a week after Birkirkara defeated Raiders Lija 2-1 after extra-time in a championship decider.

Sarah Vella Berberi put Raiders ahead on the 20th but although Sara Saliba equalised on the 38th, Michela Bonello Ghio notched the winner on the 68th.
