Champions Hibernians secured the services of Cape Verde international central defender Lorenzo Yael Soares Fonseca from Santa Lucia.

The 24-year old started his career at Spartaan 20 in the Netherlands and then went on to play for Sparta Rotterdam and FC Den Bosch before joining Academica Coimbra in Portugal. Fonseca moved to Santa Lucia last January.

The club had earlier this week confirmed coach Stefano Sanderra, announced the signing of Gabriel Mensah from Gudja United and extended their contracts of Ibrahim Kone. Ferdinando Apap, Thaylor Aldama and Ali Diakite.
