Rabat Ajax Football Nursery have announced that Carmel Busuttil has been appointed as technical director.

A product of Rabat Ajax, Busuttil went on to play for Verbania Calcio in Italy, KRC Genk in Belgium and Sliema Wanderers apart from a glorious career with the national team.

He started his coaching career at Sliema Wanderers as player-coach and later served as assistant coach of the Malta national team, coach of Santa Lucia, coach of Pieta’ Hotspurs, assistant coach at Melita and head coach of the Melita Nursery, staff coach at the Mosta Youth Nursery and head coach at the Hibernians Football Academy.

Busuttil founded the Buzu Football School and later the Kick Football Academy.
