Sirens secured the services of Canadian forward Promise Oluwatobi Emmanuel David Akinpelu, better known as Promise. He signed a two-year deal with the club.

The twenty-year old had moved to Malta last January A product of the Toronto FC Academy, he played for Vaughan Azzurri before a spell with NK Trnje Zagreb in Croatia and later FC Tulsa in the USA.
