Newly-promoted Marsaxlokk secured the services of Daniel Agius on loan from Floriana for one year.

Agius started his career at the St. Andrews nursery but moved to Floriana at an early age. He had spells on loan with Naxxar Lions in 2011/12 and 2012/13, Sirens in the latter part of season 2016/17 and season 2017/18 and Santa Lucia in 2019/20.

The Southseasiders had earlier signed Tiago Adan Fonseca, Alfred Effiong, Edafe Christopher Uzeh, Timothy Tabone Desira, Leandro Aguirre, Conor Borg, Dale Mifsud and Ryan Tonna.
