The Malta Football Association released the fixtures for the first round of the BOV Premier League 2022/23.

The league will kick-off on Friday August 19 with two matches at the National Stadium and one at the Centenary Stadium.

Birkirkara take on Sirens and Valletta face Hibernians at the National Stadium while at the Centenary Stadium, Balzan meet Zebbug Rangers.

On August 20, two matches are scheduled for the National Stadium – Hamrun Spartans vs Marsaxlokk and Floriana vs Pieta’ Hotspurs and two for the Tony Bezzina Stadium – Gzira United vs Santa Lucia and Mosta vs Gudja United.

Four match-days will be played before the first international break and then the league would resume on October 1. The league would continue uninterruptedly until mid-November. Matches are then scheduled for December 2-4 and 9-11.
