Soares Fonseca, Leo Bahia re-join Santa Lucia

Cape Verde twenty-four year old international central defender Lorenzo Yael Soares Fonseca and Brazilian thirty-one year old forward Francisco Eliomar Rodrigues Farias re-joined Santa Lucia.

Soares Fonseca started his career at Spartaan 20 in the Netherlands and then went on to play for Sparta Rotterdam and FC Den Bosch before joining Academica Coimbra in Portugal. Fonseca moved to Santa Lucia last January but joined Hibernians in June. He joins Santa Lucia on loan until the end of the season.

On the other hand, Francisco Eliomar Rodrigues Farias, known as Leo Bahia, played for Lajaeadense, Sao Gabriel, Alecrim, Bangu, Gremio, Pelotas, Hercilio Luz, GE Juventus, Ferroviario and Marilia in Brazil apart from a spell with Rampla Juniors in Uruguay and Xelaju in Guatemala. He joined Santa Lucia last summer but moved to Al Dahab Club in Saudi Arabia in January and later CE Avenida in Brazil.

The club, who have appointed Pablo Cortes Sanchez as their new coach, had earlier signed Matthew Calleja Cremona, Michael Johnson, Thomas Rier, Robert Bairam Mihalache and Miguel Angel Alba.
