Gudja United, Xghajra Tornados withdraw from Women’s League, Youth League respectively

The Malta Football Association announced that two teams withdrew from their respective competition.

Gudja United withdrew from the Women’s League. This will mean that this league will now have seven teams instead of eight.  Each fixture previously involving Gudja United will be a bye for their opponents on that matchday.  In a normal matchday, the Tuesday fixture at the Mgarr Ground will not be played.  Some fixtures therefore might be changed.

On the other hand, Xghajra Tornados withdrew from National Youth League Section D. This will mean that this section will now have nine teams instead of ten.  Each fixture previously involving Xghajra Tornados will be a bye for their opponents on that matchday.
