Luqa St. Andrew’s and St. George’s shared the spoils in a goalless draw in a match between two teams who were relegated from the Challenge League last season at the Sirens Stadium as Group B of the National Amateur League got underway on Sunday.

Siggiewi scored twice in the second half to beat Kirkop United 2-0 in another match at the Sirens Stadium. Ronaldo Begambre Jaramillo put Siggiewi ahead on the 56th and two minutes in added time, Ryan Muscat doubled the score.

In a match at the Luxol Stadium, a goal by Ryden Gatt on the 18th minute handed Ghaxaq a narrow win over Dingli Swallows.

Meanwhile in Group A, goals by Alex Nilsson on the 7th and Ryan Sciberras on the 42nd handed Qormi a 2-0 win over Ta’ Xbiex at the Luxol Stadium.
