Pembroke Athleta registered a comfortable 5-1 win over Pembroke Athleta at the Sirens Stadium in one of the matches from Group A of the National Amateur League on Sunday.

Goals by Saturday Nanapere on the 5th, Liam Portelli on the 10th, Christian Saint Ebisindor on the 13th and Nanapere once again on the 23rd handed Mgarr a comfortable lead during the first half. Nanapere added another on the 48th and Weverton Gomes pulled one back on the 59th.

Sebastian Perdomo Esquivel notched a hat-trick as Senglea Athletic defeated Sta. Venera Lightnings 3-1 at the Luxol Stadium. He scored on the 22nd, 25th and 53rd with Matthias Vella scoring a consolation goal for the Lightnings on the 72nd.

At the Sirens Stadium, Qormi defeated Mellieha 2-0 thanks to goals by Sheldon Seychell on the 58th and Clayton Vella on the 71st.

On the other hand, in Group B, Siggiewi and Ghaxaq shared the spoils in a goalless draw at the Luxol Stadium.
