Gzira test for leaders Hibernians

Hibernians will be facing Gzira United, Birkirkara take on Santa Lucia while Marsaxlokk meet Balzan in the three BOV Premier League matches in programme on Sunday.

In the first match at the National Stadium, kick-off at 18:30, Marsaxlokk face Balzan.

The Southseasiders are currently third from bottom after collecting just one point in a goalless draw with Gzira United. They suffered a 1-4 defeat to Mosta in their first outing but lost narrowly to Hamrun on Wednesday. Balzan, on the other hand, share fifth place on the six-point mark. They defeated Zebbug and Santa Lucia but lost 0-1 to Gudja in their last outing.

At the Tony Bezzina Stadium, kick-off at 19:30, Hibernians take on Gzira United.

The Paolites registered their first win last week, defeating Mosta 5-0 following a draw with Valletta and a heavy defeat to Hamrun. Gzira, on the other hand, are eager to return to winning ways as they were held in draws by Gudja and Marsaxlokk after winning the first game against Santa Lucia.

At the National Stadium, kick-off at 20:45, Birkirkara meet Santa Lucia.

The Stripes claimed maximum points from the first three matches, defeating Sirens, Zebbug and Floriana. On the other hand, Santa Lucia are still chasing their first points, losing to Gzira, Balzan and Zebbug in their first three matches.
