St. George’s defeated Kirkop United 4-1 in one of the two matches from the National Amateur League Group B at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.

Morientes Muscat notched a hat-trick as he handed them a two-goal lead in the first half with goals on the 36th and 38th, adding another four minutes in the second half. Quelin Micallef pulled one back for Kirkop on the 62nd but Rudy Cassar Jeffries made it 4-1 seven minutes later.

In another match, goals by Jamie Camilleri on the 40th and Misael Tabone on the 75th handed Msida St. Joseph a 2-0 win over Luqa St. Andrew’s.

Rabat lead the way with 6 points, followed by St. George’s and Msida on 5, Luqa, Siggiewi and Ghaxaq 4, Gharghur 2, Kirkop 1, Dingli and Mdina 0.
