Norway prove too strong for Malta Women’s Under-19 national team

Norway proved too strong for the Malta women’s Under-19 national team as they won 10-0 in a match from Group A7 of League A of the UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship at the Complexo Desportivo da Tocha in Portugal on Wednesday

Ina Birkelund scored on the 8th and on the 17th to hand Norway a two-goal lead and four minutes later, Signe Gaupset made it 3-0. An own goal by Alexandra Gatt on the 24th increased the lead further with Mawa Sesay and Guro Ron adding another two goals on the 42nd and 43rd as Norway led by six goals by the end of the first half.

Ron scored the seventh seven minutes in the second half and Birkelund made it 8-0 on the 67th. Helene Donnum Veum increased the lead on the 77th with Sesay adding another six minutes from time.
