Under-17s beaten 0-5 by Czechia

The Malta Under-17 national team lost 0-5 to Czechia in another match from Group 4 of the UEFA Under-17 Championship qualifying round at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday.

A penalty two minutes from the end of the first half by Adam Binar paved the way for the Czech side. They doubled the score two minutes in the second half through Vojtech Hranos who also managed to score another goal two minutes later. One minute in added time, Hranos completed his hat-trick and three minutes later, Lukas Branecky made it 5-0.

Malta plays the third and final game against Northern Ireland on Tuesday.
