Seven Premier League players were suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches. Sean Cipriott (Sirens) was handed a three-match ban while Fernano Ezequiel Juarez (Floriana), Dunstan Vella (Hibernians), Leandro Aguirre (Marsaxlokk), Miguel Angel Alba (Santa Lucia), Weder Soares da Silva (Sirens) and Wilker Rocha Santos (Zebbug) were all suspended for one match.
