Melita rescued a point in a 1-1 draw with Qrendi in the BOV Challenge League at the Centenary Stadium on Wednesday.

Henrique Maciel put Qrendi ahead eleven minutes in the second half but Hiroya Konno equalised five minutes from time.

Marsaskala registered a second win as they defeated Attard 2-0 at the Centenary Stadium. Allan da Silva Oliveira put Marsaskala ahead on the 34th and Andres Tenorio Viveiro doubled the score one minute in added time.

On the other hand, a goal by Thiago Nonato Peixoto on the 10th minute handed Tarxien Rainbows a narrow win over St. Andrews at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.

Sliema lead the way with 24 points, followed by Zejtun on 21, Naxxar 19, Fgura, Melita and Tarxien 17, Lija 14, Swieqi, Zurrieq and St. Andrews 11, Attard 9, Marsa, Mtarfa and San Gwann 8, Mqabba and Vittoriosa 7, Marsaskala 6 and Qrendi 5.
