Melita moved fifth in the BOV Challenge League thanks to a 2-1 win over Mqabba at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.

Neil Buttigieg put Mqabba ahead on the 12th minute but nine minutes in the second half, Matthew Debattista levelled matters and three minutes from time, Mattia Comes notched the winner.

Sliema lead the way with 29 points, followed by Zejtun on 27, Naxxar on 26, Tarxien 21, Melita 20, Fgura 18, Zurrieq 17, Lija and St. Andrews 15, Marsa 14, Swieqi and Attard 13, San Gwann 11, Marsaskala 10, Mtarfa 8, Qrendi, Vittoriosa and Mqabba 7.
