Rabat Ajax moved on top Group B of the Izibet Amateur League thanks to a narrow win over neighbours Dingli Swallows at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.

It took Ian Caruana just sixteen seconds to put the Magpies ahead.

In another match, Msida St. Joseph were held in a goalless draw by St. George’s.

Rabat lead the way with 23 points, followed by Msida on 22, Gharghur and Luqa 18, Kirkop and St. George’s 17, Ghaxaq 11, Siggiewi 8, Dingli 5, Mdina 4.
