Floriana moved fifth in the BOV Premier League table thanks to a narrow win over Sirens at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Saturday.
The Greens now lie one point ahead of Gudja and two ahead of Mosta and Balzan. Sirens, on the other hand, remain in tenth place.
Following a goalless first half, Floriana took the lead nine minutes in the second half when they were awarded a penalty after Mattia Veselji was brought down inside the area and from the penalty spot, Kemar Reid converted.
