The Malta Futsal Under-19 national coach Carlo Scicluna named a 12-man squad to take part in Group A of the UEFA Under-19 Futsal Championship Preliminary Round. This tournament will mark the debut for Malta in this competition.
Malta has been drawn in Group A together with England, Lithuania and Estonia. The games will be played at the LSC Druskininkai Hall in Druskininkai, Lithuania and the schedule is as follows:
- Wednesday 18th January – England vs Malta (kick-off 16:30)
- Thursday 19th January – Lithuania vs Malta (kick-off 19:30)
- Saturday 21st January – Malta vs Estonia (kick-off 15:30)
The winner of Group A will join Italy, Turkiye and Czechia in Group 7 of the Main Round which will be played in March.
