Bjorn Vassallo was re-elected to the post of president of the Malta Football Association for the period 2024-2028 during the General Assembly which was held on Friday at the Grand Hotel Excelsior, Floriana. Vassallo obtained 62 votes while Micallef obtained 6. There was one invalid vote. Eligible to vote were the fifty three member clubs together
